Silenced .45 AR Conversion...

Now this is a pretty sweet CQB rifle. Too bad we're not trusted to have silencers in the Great State and Criminal Enterprise of New Jersey. I've been thinking about using my BAG (April 15th - Buy A Gun) Day money for a .45 upper for my extra AR lower. $600 for the upper, another hundred to finish off the lower, and a decent reflex sight for about $300, and whatever BUIS sights cost (Back Up Iron). Probably a G to $1200 to get what I want.

Update:  Today (Tuesday) I found a Box O' Gun that's a Colt factory .45 conversion.  The owner says there is 'something wrong with it', but didn't know exactly what.  He says it got it repaired at Colt, but now 'something' else is wrong with it.

Hell, these things are completely modular, I've got a lower and all kinds of other parts laying around, and new upper assemblies alone are $600.  Even if it's trashed, it would be worth it if I could get a good price on it.  The owner is digging it out for me to look at.
