California, Vermont, Texas, Hawaii
...all were independent republics before joining the Union.
Some have language in their annexation agreements which imply the right to secede. Vermont's constitution is older than the US constitution, Hawaii was forced into the Union, and Texas has always reserved the right to leave the Union. Only California would wimp out.
