Bring it, Bitches...

The trouble with this desire for retribution isn't that it goes too far. The trouble is that it doesn't go far enough. There is another group -- a large one -- that stood by doing nothing while Americans grabbed people off the streets of foreign countries, took them to other foreign countries (because we don't allow this sort of thing in the United States!) and tortured them until they said whatever our government wanted to hear. If you're going to punish people for condoning torture, you'd better include the American citizenry itself.

Sixty-two million of us voted to reelect George W. Bush in 2004. That was more people than had ever voted for a presidential candidate up until then. (In 2008, Obama got 69 million.) Unlike 2000, Bush's 2004 victory was solid and unambiguous.

Come and get me you communist tool.  It has now come to the point when well know leftist columnists are calling for the prosecution and punishment of Americans who voted 'wrong'.  This point of view conveniently forgets that 'rendition and torture' were started by the Clinton Administration.  It's all about resisting the gentle rule of the Great Leader, M'Bonga the One.  A ruler who has no problem using the Media as a personal tool to punish nay-sayers.

You know, I was missing the great enemy which had defined my life up until about '89 when the Berlin Wall came down.  I see that they are back.  Cool, and close too.

Bring it, Bitches.  You are making it easy.

I got into a discussion today with a leftist tool.

Said tool was waxing eloguent over the Death Of The GOP. I noticed several times the latest tool talking point that the GOP=Conservatives.

While talking to tools is always an exercise in futility, it did get me thinking.

The tool wasn't exactly wrong.

The problem is, he's only talking about a couple of hundred thousand people. Conservatives themselves could give a frack less if the GOPs current incarnation dies - and good riddance.

There was a poll out yesterday or today stating that something approaching 70% of registered Republicans think the leadership is out of touch with the rank and file. Said leadership being the GOP.

The GOP will conform to the conservative base or it will die. Personally I don't care...it's become the party of Dim-lite anyway. Conservative people don't even identify themselves as Republicans anymore.

...and therein we begin to see what is coming.

The leftist tools of socialism have forced people to self-identify by ideology now, not by party. That is an un-intended consequence they don't want.  They think that by marginalizing the GOP, conservative voices will become silent.

Political parties can wait a few years to get back in power. Ideologies can brook no competition.

Culture war is here. Worse is coming.

Today's cell wallpaper.
