If you remember, I was having serious head-space problems with the SMLE. Much of what I went thru can be seen here, and on an SMLE forum here.
I sent the bolt off to a master welder (Redboy's Dad) and he built up the lugs for me using hard materials. Much grind-polish-reassemble-test-disassemble-repeat later, I have GO and I do not have NO-GO. Sweet.
